Liquid Nitrogen is used for different purposes. In refrigeration units it is used as refrigerant and in medicine it is used in cryotherapy, which is based on organism property to express response reaction while over cooling of its peripheral parts. For this process special areas are created which are called cryosaunas. For cooling them liquid nitrogen is used. For selection of cattle, liquid nitrogen is widely used – particularly for transportation of genetic material (cryoconservation), in food industry – in oil and non-gas drink pouring process to create overpressure and inert environment. Liquid Nitrogen is also used in film industry to make special effects.
