Use:
Sodium cyanide is widely used in different field of industry. Especially, it is important for obtaining precious metals: gold, silver and platinum by hydrometallurgy method. Sodium Cyanide is also used in electroplating – for gilding of forged metals, nickel plating, zinc plating and for cyanide bath composition.
Content of the base material in sodium cyanide which is produced in JSC “Rustavi Azot” is at least 98%. The product is briquetted and doesn’t contain small fractions, which produces dust while using. Briquetted product doesn’t cake, caking is typical for crystalline flaky products.
Transportation : by the railway wagons, sealed containers and trucks.
Shelf life : The guaranteed shelf life of the products is one year from the date of the document certifying the quality is being issued. Upon expiry of the guarantee period for the products storage, it is necessary to check the products quality parameters. In case of compliance with the standard, the products are used in the usual way.
