Tomato is rich with vitamins, micro elements and it is worth to say that it contains lycopene , that reduces risks of cancer diseases.

Tomato is  as early  ripening ,also late ripening  plant and its vegetative period is about 100-120 days.

It is grown in open and closed soils. Seedlings are grown in greenhouses and special substrates are used , made with forest soil, dried manure, peat and mineral fertilizers. From mineral  fertilizers, ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate are  better for tomato as the plant requires nitrogen fertilizers. In vegetative period it is required  to fertilize tomato plants 2 or 3 times.

According to physical  weight ,250kg ammonium nitrate and  405kg ammonium sulfate application is required. Also for the second fertilization 0,5 kg ammonium nitrate or 1,0 kg ammonium sulfate should be dissolved in 100 liter water. The solution should be poured  at the bottom of tomato plants. For 1 hectare of area  500 liter of the solution application is required.
